From myself and all the officers, we would like to wish all of you a happy and prosperous 2024. We have had a very busy year with our fundraisers and supporting Carroll Post 31 veterans, youth and community. We were fortunate to be able to make substantial donations to these causes!
DAV Rehabilitation Fund $2,000, Tunnel to Towers $1,000, Casey's Cares $1,000, St. Jude's Hospital $2,000, Families with special needs children $2,500, Mc Vets $1,000, YMCA Summer Camp $500, Charlotte's Hall $2,000, Martinsburg VA Hospital $1,500, National Emergency Fund $2000, Special Olympics $1,000, Paws for Purple Hearts $500, American Legion Post 31 repairs $1,000, Friends of disabled veterans in Carroll County $1,000 and Boy Scout Troop 420 $500. Live Hope Laugh $2039.
With that being said, it would not be possible without the Volunteers and the support of the "Legion Family". We are hoping to do even better in this next year. In order for that to happen, we need more SAL members to get involved. We welcome new ideas.
Meetings are the first Monday of the month at 7 PM.
SEE YOU THERE!
